Contract Reminders:
Alcohol Policy
No outside alcohol may be brought into the venue. If outside alcohol is found, the venue reserves the right to charge the CLIENT up to $1,000 in accordance with Iowa liquor laws. Coolers—whether containing alcohol or not—are not permitted in the venue including the getting ready lounges. If a party bus is used, coolers must be stored in the venue office until the end of the event or placed in a personal vehicle. Members of the bridal party may not bring open containers into the venue when exiting a party bus.
Catering Guidelines
Caterers are responsible for bussing tables and removing all catering-related trash from the venue. They must clean any mess made in the kitchen and leave the space as it was found. Use of the ovens, stove, or dishwasher is strictly prohibited, as these are insured for Eastbank staff only. Unauthorized use of this equipment will result in a $300 fine, as licensing and insurance coverage applies exclusively to Eastbank staff.
Décor Restrictions
Glitter, confetti, party poppers, sparklers, and similar materials are not permitted inside the venue. If used indoors, the CLIENT will be charged an additional cleaning fee, as removal is not included in standard cleaning services.
The CLIENT is responsible for removing any excessive live florals at the end of the event, including floral installations on backdrops, loose greenery, table florals, and arrangements.
All candles must be fully enclosed within a glass vase. Taper candles must include both a wax-catching plate and a chimney sleeve.
Suites & Personal Belongings
All belongings must be removed from the Studio Lounge no later than 2:00 PM, as the doors will automatically lock at that time. Items may be relocated to the River Lounge or placed in personal vehicles.
Venue Property & Damage
The venue transitions to plastic drinkware once the dance floor opens. The CLIENT will be charged for excessive broken glassware or any damage to walls, furniture, doors, décor, or linens.
Tables, furniture, and plants may not be moved without prior staff permission and supervision, as improper handling may result in floor or property damage.
